really doubt were gonna play a 3rd period when the scores 10-1. Doesnt matter 2 me if we use the 12-5 or 10-1.

I understand what you mean, but it's for the integrity of the league. First, it's not fair for games to played 3v3, as it's way easier to score in 3v3 matches, thus inflating team and individual stats. It seems bad for a UKL team to be down 10-1 after 2 periods, but you still have to grind it out and finish. We grinded out a very poor start, and stayed through it all. If we have people quitting games early or playing 3v3 after being down a few, the league would be out of control. This is more about not setting a new precedent than anything else. And yes, I realize this was all done by a single person (Jacob).

As commissioner: Score will be 12-5. There will be no "rescheduled third period".

This is no different than a lag situation where a team does not have enough to play 4v4, TCC felt bad and decided to play 3v3, they had every right to 4v3, they chose not to.

As player: Really just embarassing, but thanks to all the members of LI that stayed to finish the game, you guys showed some heart.

A game restart and a 3v3 in the first week. I definitely don't see this season ending well with all of these new precedents being put into place.

We chose 3v3 and not 4v3 because we, especially me, didn't feel this was or should be considered "league play". We allowed breakaways/easy goals because we didn't care at that point, how should these be considered league stats?
